Legislative Decree No. 233 - Environmental Law

This law aims to encourage environmental conservation and sustainable environmental management by establishing the National Environmental Policy, assigning economic value to national resources, and creating the System of Protected National Areas to promote conservation and sustainable resource use. Water quality in these areas will be monitored.
