Hazardous Chemicals and Pesticides Control and Management Act (No. 12 of 1994)
This legislation creates the Chemicals and Pesticides Control Management Executive Council, which is tasked with regulating and monitoring pesticides and other hazardous materials through all stages of production and disposal. There are specific provisions prohibiting the disposal of these and other hazardous substances into water sources.
