Water Law

This law provides a framework for the protection and management of surface water, groundwater, and urban water cycles, aiming to prevent degradation, promote sustainable use, enhance environmental protection, reduce pollution, manage flood risks, ensure water supply, and comply with international agreements. This law also states that sewerage regulations will be under the jurisdiction of subnational governments.
