Environmental Management and Climate Change Act No. 34 of 2020
This Act lays down rules for environmental management and protection, including an environmental impact assessment, pollution control, managing the disposal of hazardous substances, waste management, conservation of species, and other environmental protection initiatives. This act also establishes an Environmental Impact Assessment Committee in Part 5, which is charged with overseeing EIAs.
