Solid Waste Management Act, 2068 (2011)

This legislation assigns the local body the responsibility of supervising waste management, processing, and disposal infrastructure, while creating the Solid Waste Management and Resource Mobilization Centre, responsible for waste control, classification of harmful waste, and research on waste management.
