Law on environmental protection

This legislation creates a framework for environmental protection, covering environmental media, biological diversity, waste management, toxic substances, and plant protection, while establishing rights, duties, liability, and dispute settlement mechanisms. This law also regulates the prevention of flood, erosion, drought and desertification, water abstraction, water supply, and effluent wastewater discharge.
