National Environmental Act 1980 (No. 47 of 1980)

This Act establishes the Central Environmental Authority, which is responsible for providing the criteria to be taken into account for the protection of the environment, undertaking surveys and inspections, conducting and promoting research, establish testing standards, and edudcating the public.
