Enhancement and Conservation of National Environmental Quality Act, B.E. 2535
This act establishes a mandate for the creation of environmental standards and issuing of Environmental Impact Assessments. The definition section of the document says that water quality standards are encompassed in "environmental standards", and therefore must be set as a result of this legislation.
