Pollution Prevention and Control Act 1999 (Chapter 24)
This Act makes regulation for a new pollution control system, taking away time limits for waste disposal licences, meaning those with licences cannot walk away from their waste disposal sites until it is proved the site is unlikely to cause harm to the environment or human health.
