Environmental Management (Licensing) Regulations (S.I. No 112 of 2013)

This regulation provides for the protection and monitoring of air quality, sets the procedures for managing waste, and addresses toxic waste hazardous to the environment. The Zambia Environmental Protection Agency issues licenses for releasing pollutants, and applications must comply with the Water Resources Management Act, follow specified criteria for wastewater, and may require groundwater monitoring wells.
