Legislative Decree No. 524 - Plant and Animal Health Law

This Law contains provisions for the protection of animal and plant health in El Salvador, including creating the Consultative Councils for Plant Health and Animal Health. It establishes the Ministry of Livestock as the competent veterinary authority in El Salvador. It contains measures for the prevention and control of communicable diseases in animals, such as quarantine.
