Regulation No. 539 on veterinarians' authorisations to prescribe drugs thumbnail

This Act regulates the prescription of veterinary medicinal products in Iceland, and specifies that animals may only be treated with antibiotics following diagnosis from a veterinarian. It also bans the use of antibiotic growth promoters (AGPs) in animals.
