Prevention and Control of Infectious and Contagious Diseases in Animals Act, 2009 (Act No. 27 of 2009)
This Act contains measures for the prevention, control and eradication of contagious diseases in animals in India. It establishes the Department of Animal Husbandry or Veterinary Services as the competent veterinary authority in India.
