Veterinary Medicine Law (2001)
This Law establishes the Food and Veterinary Service as the competent veterinary authority in Latvia, and provides measures for the prevention and control of communicable diseases of animals. It also establishes the qualifications required to practice veterinary medicine in Latvia.
