Access to Genetic Resources and the Fair and Equitable Sharing of Benefits arising from their Utilisation Regulations, 2016
Subsidiary legislation to the pre-existing Environmental Protection Act establishes a set of regulations in line with the EU ABS Regulation 522/2014. This designated a Competent National Authority, its duties and obligations, which include monitoring access and benefit-sharing of Malta's genetic resources.
