Federal Law on Epizootics (LFE)
This Law establishes the organization of veterinary authorities in Switzerland - there is a Federal Council, as well as a cantonal veterinarian appointed by each Canton. It also contains measures for the prevention and control of epizootic diseases in Switzerland, such as quarantine.
