Law No. 44 on industrial and consumer waste

This law establishes regulations and guidelines for waste management, emphasizing principles like environmental protection; ecological and economic interests; promoting low-waste technologies; complying with environmental and sanitary legislation; enforcing rules and regulations for sanitation, hygiene, and ecology; ensuring access to information; requiring licensing for waste management activities; and prohibiting waste burial in urban areas, forest parks, health resorts, and water conservation areas.
