Law No. 674 “On veterinary medicine”

This Law establishes the Chief State Veterinary Inspector as the competent veterinary authority of Tajikistan. It contains measures for the prevention and control of communicable diseases. Furthermore, it regulates animal feed and feed additives, stating that they should not contain animal growth stimulants, including hormonal and other substances harmful to animals, environment and human health in quantities exceeding the maximum allowable level.
