Animal Diseases Act, 2003 (No. 17 of 2003)

This Law establishes the Director responsible for veterinary services under the Ministry responsible for livestock as the competent veterinary authority in the United Republic of Tanzania, and contains measures for the prevention and control of communicable diseases in animals, such as quarantine.
