Animal Health Protection (7 U.S.C. 8301-8322)

This Chapter of the United States Code seeks to regulate and protect animal health. It contains measures on the prevention, detection, control, and eradication of diseases and pests of animals in the United States of America, such as quarantine. It establishes the Department of Agriculture as the competent veterinary authority.
