Common Regime on Access to Genetic Resources

This document describes a decision agreed upon by the constituent countries of the Andean Community. This describes a commitment to respect national sovereignty on genetic resources and associated knowledge, as well as the requirement from each country to designate competent national authorities and institute access permits.
